Alchemy and ESRI deliver the inaugural Community Risk Reduction Programme for US Fire Departments.

We brought five departments together for an innovative workshop-based programme to develop leadership and practice in Community Risk Reduction. Delegates from Austin TX, Richmond VA, Rancho Cucamonga, Stockton and Fresno CA came together in May 2014 for the first module at Duke University, NC. This was not a theory exercise; they worked hard to develop pilot programmes to implement back in their communities. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive (see Testimonials) and when they reassembled in Redlands CA in October for the second module the progress was impressive. These five are now the pioneers for a new approach to reducing risk and we're staying in touch to evaluate the results of their efforts.
